Solar Engineering & Energy Audit

Solar Engineers perform an energy audit to determine the amount of energy a client requires.

Utilizing Client-provided utility providers billing, and through information gained while preparing project-specific pricing, solar engineers are able to determine the current amount of energy consumption as well as determine any additional future energy requirements.

Solar engineers are then able to calculate the amount of solar energy that is required for a roof to produce and from there determine the amount of active roof tiles required for a roof.

Once the amount of active roof tiles has been determined the solar engineer , to achieve maximum energy output from the active roof tiles take into account the available roof space in conjunction with available sunlight at project location. Then for maximum safety & efficiency develops an installation wiring diagram mapping out exactly where to apply all of the PV Equipment on the roof and building structure.

Non-Active roof tile is then intended to be applied in accordance with TRI, ASTM & CSA advanced roof tile installation standards for extreme weather conditions to the balance, typically the larger portion of the roof.
